Culture Overview

Culture is the backdrop for the beliefs, attitudes and behaviors within an organization and is the primary driver for its performance. ConvergencyPartners teams with business leaders to ensure that they are appropriately intentional about Culture, and that they understand how to leverage aspects of their culture to support and achieve business results.

Our work in Culture aligns individuals, teams and the entire organization to the values that are driving the business. When the leadership team truly understands the underlying motivations of its people, it can achieve a cohesive organization that yields sustainable growth.

Our Culture and Values services include:

Cultural Effectiveness: an assessment tool designed to: diagnose culture gaps; drive cultural alignment for sustainable organizational performance; create clarity for Leadership to intentionally shape Culture; and deliver a roadmap design for cultural change that is linked to the business strategy.

Values Alignment: a process in which we partner with you to drive articulation of a “true” value system that lives within the Culture, while also aligning values with the strategic needs of the business in order to drive organizational performance.

Values Alignment Exercise
ConvergencyPartners Values Alignment Exercise provides an assessment and identification of individual values. Its purpose is to explore and deepen the alignment of individuals, the leadership team and organization, and to employ the alignment to develop company-wide values.

It also answers another question not often asked by teams but felt in the dissatisfaction within team relationships:  What do we need to do and how do we need to be to create better values alignment and ease of relationships on the leadership team?

By stepping into values alignment work each executive gains better access to what is really most important to them, as well as to all the voices in the system, and all the viewpoints in the collective in order to create a greater level of awareness, respect and cohesiveness.

The importance to your organization:
A key premise when it comes to work in organizational values is that executives, staff and leaders have very little training in understanding people’s and organization’s value systems or helping groups to change.  Habits, traditions, and even some so-called best practices unwittingly marginalize "non-conformist" people, feelings and emotions, while supporting the communication style of one culture over others. Non-majority feelings are simply ruled out of order.  Actually, the most capable executives often create the most serious obstacles to progress.  With culture being the primary driver of organization performance, and values being highly influenced by culture, the sustainable growth of any organization is at risk if “getting values right” is not a priority.
